Can I take more than the suggested dosage?

Yes, you can! We recommend that you begin with 2-3 capsules, taken first thing in the morning. If adding a second dose, the best time is usually early afternoon. We don’t recommend that you take Parasym Plus™ after about 4pm because the increase in brain power may make it more difficult to sleep at night (if taken late in the day).

Can Parasym Plus™ help me have regular bowel movements?

The parasympathetic nervous system controls motility — movement of the stool through the GI tract. The vagus nerve is the parasympathetic nerve that promotes regular bowel movements. Parasym Plus™ supports all aspects of vagus nerve function — PLUS it boosts acetylcholine needed by the brain and other parasympathetic nerves. Most people who take Parasym Plus™ report that within a month a bowel movement is “knocking at their back door” when they get up in the morning — much like a normal person! Normalization is a great thing in the bathroom.

Can Parasym Plus™ be taken out of the capsule and mixed with water to consume?

We recommend that you always try to keep Parasym Plus™ in the capsule. If you absolutely must remove it, we recommend mixing it with something like applesauce. You may need a bit more Parasym Plus™ (perhaps an additional capsule) to make up for some of the ingredients clinging to the capsule or spoon, however.

Is there soy or any soy-derived ingredients in Parasym Plus™?

We have tested samples of alpha-GPC with a test to determine allergens called PCR (lab is Genetic ID), and we do not detect DNA fragmentation for soy at any level.
